LED Assist / Breakout Op / Lead
LED Wall Assembly:
Assembled a 13 x 9.7-foot LED wall using beMatrix LEDskin 2.5mm panels. Ran power and data lines for the wall, and replaced any defective modules. Wall used a NovaPro UHS Jr. processor and Brightsign XT4 video engine to manage the video display.
Booth PA System and Presentation Monitors:
Set up the booth's PA system with speakers, amplifiers, mixing boards, and microphones. Installed monitors for presentations. As the booth operator, performed daily checks and replacements of defective LED modules, mic’d presenters, and assisted with PowerPoint presentations. Struck the booth and prepared equipment for shipping with Freeman.
Crew Management:
Tracked assiting contractor's time, breaks, and schedule.

LED 2 / Breakout Tech
Assisted in building a 3-wall setup using Roe Black Pearl v2 panels with Brompton Tessera SX40 processors and Tessera XD data distribution units. A six-person team assembled the large center wall, then split into two teams to complete the house's right and left walls. Led the team responsible for the house's right wall, managing the assembly and running power and data lines. After bringing the wall online, assisted in replacing damaged or non-functioning LED modules and troubleshooting panels with Novastar receiver cards.
Additionally, set up multiple breakout rooms with standard PA systems, screens, projectors, mics, and power strips.

LED 2 / AVT
Originally brought on as an AV technician but then assigned to the LED wall assembly team. The Lead LED tech, with limited experience and unfamiliarity with Tessera processors, needed assistance. The infiled DB2.4 LED wall build faced technical challenges, including the lack of air or ground frames. Each section's bottom panel row was placed directly on the stage and zip-tied to an upright truss, causing alignment issues. Once the wall was built, power and data lines were run in a redundancy configuration. After connecting to two Tessera SX8 processors, some panels required power and data unit replacements. Despite initial difficulties bringing the wall online due to software crashes and data line issues, my solution involved starting with one processor before building in redundancy. Once the wall was online, defective modules were replaced.

LED Lead / IT Tech
LED Lead:
Led the assembly of an LED-walled DJ booth using older ROE MC 12H panels and a ROE Envision HD101 processor. Faced challenges due to the lack of original PC software for panel configuration, limiting adjustments to the processor's software. During the show, part of the wall went down, and processor settings couldn't fix it. Collaborated with the VJ and utilized Resolume software to successfully remap the wall.
IT Tech:
Contributed to setting up a Wi-Fi mesh network on-site, installed POS systems for all vendor booths, and provided troubleshooting support on the event day to ensure all vendors could process sales without issues.

Steward / AVT Lead
After a previous positive working relationship with a UK based client, I was invited to Austin, TX, to lead a large multi-site, two-week-long event, managing up to 35 locally hired stagehands and AV technicians. The event, held twice for 700 and 500 attendees respectively, spanned multiple sites in Austin and multiple floors of the Fairmount Austin, with frequent event space changeovers.
Responsibilities included coordinating with various event companies to provide them with the assitance they required, communicating with the labor contractor, overseeing daily labor crews, handling schedule changes, addressing individual crew member issues, and working closely with the crew to ensure tasks were completed to the client's specifications.
